Australia's Bureau of Meteorology has warned of temperatures above 35 degrees in Adelaide, with a high risk of bushfires due to strong winds. The Mount Lofty district has been particularly cautioned. The Bureau has extended alerts for areas such as Adelaide, Ceduna, Clare, and Port Lincoln. Meteorologists have noted that while the current heatwave is significant, it is not as severe as the one that preceded the Black Summer bushfire event in 2019.
